True vector PDF

Shapes are written as PDF paths, not pixels. The PDF stays sharp at any zoom and prints cleanly at any size.

Any page size

Fit the page to your SVG or place it on A4, Letter, Legal or A3, in portrait or landscape, with optional margins.

Browser-based

The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your SVG is never sent to a server.

Why convert SVG to PDF?

PDF is the standard format for printing and sharing documents. Print shops, office software and email recipients can all open a PDF, while many of them cannot handle an SVG file. Converting an SVG to PDF keeps your artwork as vectors, so logos, illustrations and diagrams print with clean edges at any size.

  • ✓Sending a logo or artwork to a print shop
  • ✓Printing stickers, posters, flyers or labels
  • ✓Attaching a diagram or chart to a report
  • ✓Sharing a design with clients who do not have design software
  • ✓Archiving vector artwork in a universal format

How to convert an SVG to PDF

  1. 1Drop your SVG file on the upload area or click to browse.
  2. 2Pick Fit to SVG or a standard page size (A4, Letter, Legal or A3), then set the orientation and margin.
  3. 3Click Download PDF to get a vector PDF that stays sharp at any size.

Vector PDF, not a picture

Many online converters take a screenshot of your SVG and paste it into a PDF, which makes edges blurry when you zoom or print large. This tool converts each path, shape, gradient and clipping mask into native PDF drawing commands. The file stays small, sharp and editable in Illustrator, Inkscape or Affinity. To reduce the size of a heavy SVG first, run it through the SVG Optimizer.

Frequently asked questions

View all FAQs →
01
Is the PDF vector or raster?
Vector. Every shape of your SVG is written as a PDF path, so the PDF stays perfectly sharp at any zoom level and prints cleanly at any size. Nothing is turned into pixels.
02
Which page size should I choose?
Fit to SVG makes the page exactly the size of your drawing, which is best for logos, artwork and files sent to a print shop. Choose A4, Letter, Legal or A3 when you need a standard sheet: the drawing is scaled to fit and centered on the page.
03
What does the orientation setting do?
Auto picks landscape for wide drawings and portrait for tall ones. You can also force portrait or landscape. Orientation only applies to standard page sizes, since Fit to SVG already matches the shape of your drawing.
04
Will my fonts and text be kept?
Text stays as real, selectable text in the PDF. Custom web fonts are replaced with a standard PDF font, so for an exact match convert your text to outlines in your design tool before exporting the SVG.
05
Does the PDF keep transparency, gradients and clipping?
Yes. Fills, strokes, opacity, linear and radial gradients, clipping paths and transforms are all converted. Filters such as blur or drop shadows are not supported by the PDF format and are skipped.
06
Is my SVG uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server, no account is required and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
