SVG to JPG Converter

Convert any SVG to a JPG image in your browser. Choose the resolution, the background color and the quality, then download a sharp JPG.

When to convert SVG to JPG

SVG is the best format for logos and illustrations on a website, but many places still do not accept it. Online marketplaces, print shops, job applications, older email clients, word processors and many social networks ask for a JPG. Converting your SVG gives you a file that opens everywhere.

JPG is also the smallest raster option for illustrations with gradients, shadows and many colors. For flat graphics that need a transparent background, PNG or WebP are better choices.

How to convert SVG to JPG

  1. Drop your SVG file in the upload area above, or click to choose it.

  3. Choose the background color that will replace transparent areas.

Frequently asked questions

View all FAQs →
01
What happens to the transparent background of my SVG?
JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose: white by default, black, or any custom color. If you need to keep transparency, use SVG to PNG or SVG to WebP instead.
02
What JPG quality should I choose?
A quality of 85 to 92 percent gives a file that looks identical to the original for most images while staying small. Go to 95 or 100 for print or when the image has fine text and sharp edges. Below 75, compression artifacts start to show around lines and text.
03
What resolution should I choose: 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x?
The scale multiplies the width and height set in the SVG. Use 1x for standard screens, 2x for retina screens, social media and email, 3x for high-resolution mobile graphics, and 4x for print or very large displays.
04
Should I use JPG or PNG for a logo?
For logos, icons and flat graphics with few colors, PNG is usually sharper and supports transparency. JPG is the better choice when a platform only accepts JPG, when you need the smallest file for a photo-like illustration with gradients, or when the image will sit on a solid background anyway.
05
Is my SVG file sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your file is never uploaded to a server, no account is required, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
